Based on my fidling in How to use Joomla security in own php code - Joomla 6 update i decided to try and cretae a new component 'com_wrapperid' based on the standard Joomla component 'com_wrapper'. Purpose is to be able to install it in parallel without need for overides.
Searching the net I found this very usefull article by Peter Martin: Using Joomla Components - Thx for that one! - and even a suggestion to use 'com_wrapper' as example...
However - the recipe left out a few important mentions!

Time has passed, and since original article How to use Joomla security in own php code my own coding has switched to Joomla native using Component Creator so this trick has really not been needed.
Now however I have found some smart php apps which I would like to integrate into Joomla security - so had to refer to this again - and upgrade it to work with Joomla 6.

We are logging some files using ftp to our ISP's server. This work fine, but we need to perform some automatic housekeeping - that is: delete files older than 7 days / moving files to subfolders.
This has proven to be a very difficult, as there is only ftp access which can be done automatic - and after lots of internet searches we decided to rotate folders instead.
Also, we would like to set this up from our home-server running Ubuntu Linux and using a bash script. Both tools are rather new knowledge, but after some heavy googling there may be a way out ;-)
Update I: First try was partly successfull....
Update II: Second try - sucess!! The answer is: Kermit!

This calls for changing core wrapper funtionality by way of template owerrides. This has the sideeffect of passing session info to every other wrapped pages as well, and on our site I found at least 3 pages where this lead to error.
The right solution to this problem is - of course - to create a new module / componet to do the wrapping and pass sessioninfo.

MEN Hvad så når man har nogen hjemmestrikkede / ældre / andre systemer som IKKE bruger UTF-8. Dét kan give nogen udfordringer.
Det har taget lang tid, men langt om længe er det lykkedes at få orden på vores egne databaser... Du kan måske bruge lidt af mit arbejde!?
